Visual Obsession was contracted to create BoatNotes: a multimedia resource to support students engaged in Maritime Industry Training in Northern Australia. Users can practice and refine their Maritime skills from anywhere, anytime, and on any device. It is inteded mainly as accompanying material to the Coxwains Grade 2 Certificate (MAR20313). The resource can also be printed out for use within classrooms or downloaded so that no internet connection is needed to use the resource.
David Broun from Desert Boot Design is a qualified Teacher, Coxswain Grade 1 and Yachtmaster, and was contracted to create the resources content, activities and intructional videos: Visual Obsession converted this content into an extremely accessible, interactive online resource.
The resource was developed by the Kimberley Training Institute as part of the federal government's Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) program.
